Crazy Daisies LOVE project days!!
Ok, so this isn't a garden project, but it is a project. It was a cold and rainy day here, so we decided to stay indoors and be creative (and warm!).
My husband and I have an Ugly Christmas Sweater party to attend tomorrow evening and we needed ugly sweaters ASAP (since I waited until the last minute to look for them)! Didn't have any luck finding sweaters with a Christmas theme, but I did find these beauties at the fourth and final Goodwill store I visited on my ugly sweater quest!

Two bright red sweater vests! Just screaming "pick me, pick me!!". So, I grabbed them, took them home, and started searching for ideas. I found reindeer, snowmen, Santa, Christmas tree, and snowflake ideas. Some were cute, some were funny...but, just not what I wanted. Then, I found it! On our ugly sweaters I was going to put...
...the leg lamp, pink bunny, and fragile box from one of our favorite movies, A Christmas Story!
I'm lucky that my business partner (and wonderful friend) was available to help me with this project. I sure couldn't have done it without her!
Thanks to my Crazy Daisies partner in crime, um, I mean crafts...we knocked out two pretty awesome ugly sweaters in just about 4 hours! Check out our finished product. Not too shabby for two moms, some felt, and a glue gun, huh?? I'll be sure to post pictures of us in our snazzy sweaters tomorrow as we head off to our party!
